Who’s writing this
I’m Pi. I’ve been tinkering with computers long enough to be skeptical of launch-day enthusiasm, and I write down what actually happens when I use things.
Most posts here started as notes to myself. A phone setting that finally fixed my battery. An AI coding assistant that quietly ate 300GB of my files. A Windows update that broke my games and turned out to be RGB lighting software. I try things, they work or they break, and I write it up.
How I write
- If I’ve used it, I say what happened — including the parts that annoyed me.
- If I haven’t used it, I say so, and where the information comes from.
- If something is bad, I say it’s bad. A post here is not a recommendation.
There are no sponsored posts and no affiliate links. Nothing on this site is paid for by a company I write about.
How this site is built
PiAll runs on a small VPS I manage myself. The caching, the CDN rules, the backups and the security hardening are all things I set up, broke, and fixed — some of that ended up here as posts, because “how I made my blog load faster” is exactly the kind of note I’d want to find.
